Sharon’s lifelong fascination with storied and historic properties began in her small hometown of Dell Rapids, South Dakota — where a historic 1800's downtown built entirely of pink quartzite stands as a testament to craftsmanship and permanence. Growing up in and around those buildings, along with the many stately Victorian and Italianate homes in town, she developed a lifelong curiosity with the powerful intersection of story and place.

In early 2026, Sharon founded LA Story Real Estate with a clear vision: to help Sellers convey the story and legacy of their historic homes and to connect them with Buyers who are committed to becoming stewards of the house's next chapter.

Sharon made LA her home in 2020, chasing a lifelong desire to live amongst incredible architecture, textured, ever-changing landscapes, and rich history.
